From Primary School Arithmetic to Neuroradiology: computers as motivators and envisioning devices in education

ICTG in collaboration with the Computer Science & Software Engineering Dept is excited to host a UC-wide seminar at 3:10pm on Friday 4 June 2010 in C2 Lecture Theatre (University of Canterbury).

Professor Benedict du Boulay (Human Centred Technology Research Group, School of Informatics, University of Sussex UK), visiting Erskine Fellow in the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering, will be talking about motivational and metacognitive aspects of learning (educational) environments, giving examples from various projects in the area (including those he has been involved with).

This is a free event open to the public. Everyone is welcome.
