Apply for a UC summer scholarship: Work with ICTG over the summer

Would you like to work with ICTG on a research project this summer? Apply for a UC Summer Scholarship, and you could be!

The UC summer scholarships are now open for applications from students who are considering enrolling at the University of Canterbury in 2011 and will be studying at 400 level or enrolling in a Masters or PhD.

Workshop on meta-cognitive skills at ICCE 2010

Amali Weerasinghe, Tanja Mitrovic and Benedict de Boulay are organising a workshop titled "Supporting, Promoting and Evaluating Meta-Cognitve Skills" .This will be held in conjunction with the 18th International Conference on Computers in Education (29 November - 3 December 2010, Malaysia).

UC-led team to build intelligent vision vine pruning system

Professor Tanja Mitrovic is part of a UC-led team that has just received almost $3 million in funding to develop an intelligent vision vine pruning system. The team also consists of team leader Dr. Richard Green (CSSE), Professor XiaoQi Chen (Mechatronics Director), Dr David Aitchison (Mechanical Engineering), (Lincoln University), and Dr Dean Kirk (Product Innovation Centre).

We are very excited to announce that ICTG will be hosting the 15th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Education (AIED 2011). This will be held in Christchurch, New Zealand, the week starting June 27, 2011.
